no, they weren't. on the first two albums their sound was not as polished as on the last two albums. also, the first two records are more 'core'-laden, now they became more and more metal. and i'm more into core than into metal.

Thoroughly agree...although even from the beginning I thought they were overrated. Vocals obviously badass music to me was always average at best.
