We agree that 2022 was the year of Stuffed Foxes. Authors of two emblematic discs, the sextet from Tours has become one of the leading formations of the moment. However, a member of the group decided to emancipate himself for another musical project by the name of T.F.T. This is Simon Lépinay who decides to join forces with Benjamin Jumelle and Antoine Farragu from the group The Flying Tacos and who present a first album entitled Withering Times.

Very quickly, T.F.T. imposes its sound through these nine intense and imposing titles. Between psychedelic garage and noisy shoegaze, the supertrio transports us to the distance with, among other things, the hazy "Fix Your Faith" as an opening before taking off with "Better Leave It Off" and "I Want You To Find" also recalling both The Jesus & Mary Chain and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

What is certain is that the chemistry between the three musicians is incredibly successful. It's with psychedelic reverbs and riffs sometimes noisy sometimes melodic as on "Hollow" contrasting with the more pop "We've Been Here For Nothing". T.F.T. will make everyone agree with new saving pearls that are "Alone With Everything" which we never tire of but also the epic conclusion called "Just Like My Soul". An authentic and hard-hitting first album where the Touraine supertrio will surprise more than one.
