‘Auto-Fiction’ is the 3rd album from Far Caspian, and reflects time out spent in 2024 to focus on the numerous creative outlets Joel has turned his hand to. Writing, producing and recording a full band production (played live as a six piece) had taken it’s toll to the point Joel had considered stepping back from his own writing project. However, after producing albums for Green Gardens and Ellur Joel found renewed appetite for Far Caspian and developed his own work by stepping back from himself to ‘produce’ rather than just record his own work. The result is his finest album to date; a complex and detailed sonic pathway into the mind of a musical purist.
