American outfit GASTEM has put out two albums in the middle of the eighties already and now they are active again, putting out a brand new record by the name of "III" with fourteen tracks. The likes of KIX, POISON or MÖTLEY CRÜE can be considered as fine benchmarks for the sound of the three-piece. In addition to that, the single "Anyway" could easily be a typical ALICE COOPER track. It's a fine record that transports the spirit of the good old hairspray days and keeps them alive in a very honorable way. Another song to check out first is "Kiss Me Like You Love Me". (MS)
