In 2023, Hollow Peak released their debut EP featuring five tracks. A raw and heartfelt introduction that reflected both passion and the realities of a low-budget production. Despite its modest resources, the release laid the foundation for the band’s sound and identity.
With the upcoming release, the 5th of December, Obsidian Cult, Hollow Peak takes a major step forward. The album presents a far heavier, more refined production, marked by powerful mixes, made by Corey Bergeron, and a darker, more immersive atmosphere. Songwriters Marius Karlsen and Ragnhild “Nell” Westgaard continue to shape the creative core of the band, now with stronger compositions and deeper musical maturity.
Obsidian Cult stands as the natural evolution of Hollow Peak. This album captures both intensity and emotion, blending melodic depth with the band’s distinctive edge.
